On the day, stories were told of up to 60 coaches parked up at Uluru then known as Ayers Rock , a classic image of a coach Denning, of course!

Imran Khan jr 5 6 S. Day 1 report : Mitchell Starc took four for 52 as a middle-session blitz and some late new-ball fireworks helped Australia dismiss Pakistan for to bring a close to the opening day of the first test in Brisbane on Thursday. Pat Cummins took three wickets and the third quick, Josh Hazlewood, grabbed two as the Australian bowlers took the honours on a sunny day at the Gabba. Left-armer Starc took the second new ball in the final hour of the day and made good use of it, dismissing Yasir Shah 26 with a trademark yorker and Shaheen Shah 0 in successive deliveries to put himself on a hat-trick.
Naseem Shah, the year-old fast bowler who was playing his first test, faced the next delivery and, without appearing to know much about it, managed to keep the ball from hitting his stumps with a thick inside edge. The teenager was the last batsman to depart, caught and bowled by Starc for seven to bring an end to a day that ebbed and flowed with long periods of Pakistani resistance punctuated by bursts of wickets.
But apart from that we stuck to the task and got better as the day went on. After losing the toss, Australia had been frustrated by an opening stand of 75 from Azhar Ali 39 and Shan Masood 27 in a partnership that lasted throughout the first session and into the second. The Australian quicks finally found their length, however, and removed both in three deliveries before swiftly adding the wickets of Haris Sohail and Babar Azam for one run apiece.
That spell of four wickets at the cost of three runs had the tourists rocking and a rout looked in order when Iftikhar Ahmed departed for seven to leave Pakistan on
Bellyache Bombshell! New Brisbane team bidding to join NRL sets sights on Storm coach
Australia is a place I’ve wanted to visit for quite a while, but it was never at the very top of my list. I originally added it to the trip mainly because it was summer when I wanted to start biking last November It’s in the Southern Hemisphere, remember. I added it before Vietnam to give me a chance to shake the bugs out of my touring system in an English speaking country where the weather was amenable. I planned to ride from Brisbane to Melbourne. At the last minute, I added a visit to my daughter Noelle in France before Vietnam instead.
By then, I’d read up on Australia and really wanted to ride there, so I kept it in the itinerary but after Vietnam which moved it from summer to late fall, but still a workable season.

An incredible Big Bash catch has sparked calls for changes to the rules of cricket. Renshaw caught the ball inside the boundary but, feeling his momentum taking him out of play, threw it up in the air. While the ball was outside the boundary but still in the air, he jumped up and tapped it back inside the field of play and into the hands of Banton. Renshaw left caught the ball inside the boundary but, feeling his momentum taking him out of play, threw it up in the air.
The catch was legal because Renshaw first touched the ball inside the boundary and was not touching the ground when he tapped it from outside the field. After Banton took the catch, Renshaw looked confused and later admitted he did not know the rule. The on-field umpire told Wade the catch was legal and the Hurricanes batsman walked off. Meanwhile, the decision was referred to the third umpire who initially ruled it not out before correcting the decision to out.
